i plan to start on the Monza inline race june 17. Where can i skate normally in Milano? I tried this last week and only the Piazza Duomo is acceptable for fitness, training, speed skates...

Hi, Peter.
If you wish to skate in the daylight, we would suggest the parks, in
particular the "Parco Nord Milano"
(http://www.parconord.milano.it/). You will find a lot of skaters
there, expecially on saturdays and sundays (both fitness and
slalom). If you plan to train for speed skating note that there are
footpaths many kilometers long (Ivano Brugnetti, the Olimpic and World
Champion of athletic walking, used to train there), but that you will
have to share them with pedestrians, so we suggest that you avoid rush
hours.
